Not quite the new Zoo City cover

Matthew Inman (probably better known as his cartoonist alterego, The Oatmeal) sent me a copy of his book, 5 Very Good Reasons To Punch A Dolphin In The Mouth with a very special inscription.

The book is pretty good too. Actually, it’s bust-a-gut-instestines-fall-out funny. There’s a lot of sheer insanity and silliness, but also some scathing insights into pop culture, politics and the sheer evil of cats.

He’s a delightfully deranged and potty-mouthed Gary Larson for the 21st Century.

I’m not the only one who thinks so either.

I returned home after a night out to catch my babysitters in the middle of a depraved act.
